Tinubu Departs Abuja For 3-Week Leave In Europe, To Return For Hectic 2027 Campaign

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.

According to a Statehouse Press Release issued on August 30, 2026, by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the President’s first stop will be London, United Kingdom.

The statement said the working vacation will last for three weeks, after which the President is expected to return home to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election.
