“I Go Spoil Business” — VeryDarkMan Storms Apple Store In China, Vows To Crash Inflated iPhone 18 Price In Nigeria

Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has issued a stern warning to Nigerian phone vendors over the pricing of the newly released iPhone 18.

In a viral video filmed inside an Apple Store in China, VeryDarkMan, dressed in a white patterned shirt and cowrie necklace, revealed he is already in China and has ordered the new device.

He accused Nigerian gadget dealers of deliberately inflating prices, noting that their actions made the iPhone 17 unnecessarily expensive in the country.

“I know una for Nigeria una go inflate the price and the problem with you inflating the price is that the next one, the 17 now come dey more expensive. I know where una wan carry this thing go,” he said.

The activist said if he hears inflated prices for the iPhone 18 in Nigeria, he would personally help Nigerians import the device directly from China at a cheaper rate.

“You know this next week now una go hate me well well, una go say I wan spoil business, I will spoil am if I hear una price for Nigeria. I go help people dey buy, dey form Nigeria, all I need to do is give you an account number,” he warned.

Showing the price list on an iPad inside the store, VeryDarkMan said the iPhone 18 Pro is selling for 9,999 RMB, which he converted to about N2,090,000, stressing that gadgets should be accessible and not a tool for exploitation.

“Gadget is meant to be accessible,” he added, while pointing to the display models of the iPhone 18 Pro.

He concluded by referencing his previous intervention during the iPhone 17 launch, saying he would repeat the same action if vendors inflate prices again, but this time with what he called the “original” strategy.

The video has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians praising him for calling out price gouging, while phone vendors have expressed concerns.
