“My Govt Did Not Speak About Genocide In Nigeria But Spoke For Palestinians” — Pastor Dachomo Slams VP Shettima Over Silence On Christian Killings At UN Speech
Pastor (rev.) Ezekiel Dachomo has slammed the Federal Government for failing to table the alleged persecution and genocide of Christians in Nigeria at the United Nations, while advocating for a two-state solution for Palestine.
Dachomo spoke during burial of three people killed in what locals said was the fifth attack in one week near Jos.
The cleric thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for advocating for Christians in Nigeria at the UN General Assembly, describing Nigeria as “the most persecuted church in the world.”
“President Trump, thank you for advocating for us in Nigeria, the most persecuted church in the world. Thank you for advocating for us at the United Nations Assembly addressing. I was hearing your address very well, praying for you. Not knowing that today, some of my members will be butchered,” Dachomo said.
Showing the brutality, he pointed to one of the victims whose head was shattered.
“You see that head? All the head was scattered. Brain was outside. They have to bind the head to gather his brains and everything in one side,” he lamented.
Dachomo then faulted Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented Nigeria at the UNGA, for his silence on the killings at home.
“My government was there through Shettima, the Vice President. My government did not speak about the persecution of Christians, the genocide in Nigeria, but they were able to stand and speak for the Palestinians, that there should be two states,” he said.
“If that should be the case, there should be two states in Nigeria, because the Christians are not free. We are suffering under Sharia,” he added.
The cleric, who said he was on his way to Israel for world prayers, also thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expressed hope for a one-on-one meeting.
“Thank you Benjamin Netanyahu, which I’m on my way to Israel for the world prayer, praying for Israel, praying for the Jews, praying for the government, standing on behalf of Nigeria. If by God’s grace I arrive in Israel, we may meet one-on-one to know the agony of Christians in Nigeria,” he stated.
He claimed that Palestinians want to establish Sharia in Jerusalem and said when he lands in Jerusalem, “the power of demonic manipulation from the Kingdom of Islam will suffer violence to prayer.”
Despite the killings, Dachomo called for mercy even for the attackers.
“We are asking God to show mercy upon each one of us. To show mercy, when I say each one, including the Fulani terrorists, let God show mercy upon their lives,” he prayed, adding that prayer warriors from America, Canada, France and Spain will present the case of their nations.
