“Why Should I Reject N10m, N20m When Voters Collect Spaghetti And N10k? — Aminu J Town Admits Politics Is For Money After Dumping PDP’s Pantami For APC’s Jamilu

Popular TikToker, Aminu J Town, openly admitted that his political campaigns ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Gombe are for financial gain, not activism.

Aminu, who recently dumped the camp of former Minister Sheikh Isa Ali Pantami to support APC candidate Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, said he visited Gombe personally and was convinced by the developmental projects of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya. He swore that among all Northern states he has visited, he has never seen the volume of work he saw in Gombe, which he said justifies Inuwa’s decision to anoint Jamilu as his successor.

While insisting he still respects Pantami as an Islamic scholar, he said politically there is someone more suitable who has served Gombe people long before aspiring to be governor. He dismissed attacks from Pantami’s supporters, warning them to focus on selling their candidate’s manifesto instead of posting his pictures to insult him.

In the most controversial video, Aminu declared that he is not an activist but a political hustler. According to him, “I came out to look for money. This talk of patriotism is a lie, I am looking for money. Anyone who gives me money, I will collect it. The poor man you are shouting about collects spaghetti and N10,000 to vote, then when they give us N10 million, N20 million you say we should not collect because of the poor man.” He described himself as a “police dog” who does not eat leftovers but is fed fresh meat, meaning he does not accept small pay.
