INEC LIST: I Will Soon Expose Those Who Plotted To Frustrate My Candidacy With Full Details — Pantami

Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy and PDP governorship candidate in Gombe state, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has vowed to expose, with detailed evidence, those who plotted to frustrate his governorship ambition and ensure his name was omitted from the final list of governorship candidates published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a new video message to his supporters across Gombe State, Pantami confirmed that the suspicions of his supporters about a coordinated plot against him are true.

He said investigations conducted by his camp have established that enormous financial resources and time were deployed to truncate his journey.

“To the people you suspect of constantly fueling opposition against us, Wallahi, your suspicions are true. Every investigation we conducted confirmed this. No amount of money and time was spared to ensure this journey is undermined,” Pantami stated in Hausa.

Pantami, whose name was omitted from INEC’s final list released on October 10 — a development his legal team, Ahmed Raji & Co., described as unlawful — said he would soon give a comprehensive account of those behind the scheme.

“In the coming days, we will enlighten you with authentic and detailed information regarding all the hypocrisy that was plotted and those who orchestrated it,” he said.

The former minister expressed profound gratitude to the people of Gombe for their continuous prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, voluntary prayers, and spiritual gatherings in mosques and churches, day and night, following his omission.

He commended his supporters for standing firm during the trial without panic or retreat, describing their resilience as the true character of devoted servants of Allah.

“Do not be weakened and do not grieve. You are exalted as long as you believe in Allah,” he urged.

Pantami also addressed those mocking his supporters for resorting to prayers, saying anyone who ridicules people seeking Allah’s help does not understand the greatness of Allah and deserves pity, as such mockery could lead to destruction.

He insisted that his movement belongs to Allah, referencing the story of Prophet Musa and Pharaoh in both the Qur’an and the Bible, Book of Exodus, to stress that no human being can stop a destiny ordained by God.

“You cannot bring down a person whom Allah has destined for an opportunity. If Allah wills it, no one can stop it,” Pantami declared, adding that he prays Allah guides those who do not understand.
