A coalition representing over 1.4 million N-Power beneficiaries has endorsed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as ADC presidential candidate ahead of 2027 election.

The delegation, made up of Batch A, B, C1 and C2 beneficiaries, stormed Atiku’s residence in Abuja with a framed endorsement plaque reading: “A MESSAGE OF UNWAVERING SUPPORT: We, the National Association of 1.5 Million N-Power Beneficiaries Nationwide, proudly declare our full confidence, unwavering support, and solidarity with His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as he emerges for the ADC Presidential Candidate.”

Speaking during the visit, delegation leader said:

“…from town to town, from village to village, from house to house, to actually convey your message to all Nigerians. Before we come to this place, we come here with the endorsement and approval of 1,492,731 N-Power beneficiaries from Batch A, B, C1, and C2…”

Female representative added: “We believe in the mandate of the ADC. We believe that they are going to give the youth a chance to participate even in the governance of this country… We are ready to support this movement from the grassroots… to see that we do away with this government that has been deceiving us for years. We are ready for a change, and we believe that ADC is the change that the Nigerian youth deserve.”

Responding, Atiku assured them of review and improvement of N-Power scheme:

“As most of you young men and women who have just left the university, who are unemployed… I assure you that N-Power will be reviewed and will be improved to make sure your expectations… are fulfilled.”

“I really want to thank you very much for this visit of endorsement. And I hope, after the endorsement, as some of you said, you will go back to your states, to your local governments, to your wards, to your units… to make sure you mobilize, you overwhelm, you know, on the election day… people vote massively, and you protect your votes.”

Atiku said his plan includes a $100bn financing initiative for young entrepreneurs and start-ups to restore purchasing power and tackle unemployment, moving from palliatives to prosperity.
