Atiku Launches ‘Ask AA’ Portal, Promises Personal Phone Calls To Nigerians
The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has unveiled a direct citizen-engagement platform, ‘Ask AA’, with a promise to personally call selected Nigerians to hear their concerns firsthand.
In a video announcing the launch, Atiku said the portal will go live today, October 15, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. via askatiku.ng, giving citizens a direct channel to question him on his record, policies and vision for Nigeria.
“Fellow Nigerians, I know you have questions about me, my past, my plans and my vision for our country and I believe you deserve answers. That is why I’m launching a new platform called Ask AA,” Atiku said.
“It is a citizen engagement platform where you reach me directly and ask anything about my policies, my record and my plans for Nigeria.”
Atiku said beyond answering questions online, he will also reach out by phone to some citizens who submit their contact details.
“You can also leave your contact details and I will personally call some of you to hear directly from you about the issues affecting your life and how I can solve them. Because building a better Nigeria begins with listening to Nigerians,” he said.
He added: “I’m ready to listen. I’m ready to answer. So if you could ask me one question, what would it be?”
According to a statement by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, the free-access portal allows Nigerians to submit questions on the economy, security, technology, job creation and cost-of-living, as well as share ideas for national progress.
Shaibu said the initiative is “built for transparency, accountability and dialogue” with “no filters, no intermediaries,” and reflects Atiku’s commitment to running a technology-driven government.
The platform supports English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, with light and dark mode options, and allows users to search previous answers and share them on WhatsApp, X, Facebook and Instagram.
For communities without internet access, the campaign said it plans to make the platform accessible through a radio interface.
