“As A Man In Abuja, If A Man Has Never Asked You Out, You Never Hustle” — Manga Motors
The Chief Executive Officer of Manga Automobiles, Manga Muhammad, has raised alarm over what he described as a common but hidden experience for young men trying to make it in Abuja — being approached for romantic relationships by influential and powerful men.
Speaking in a viral video that has gone viral on social media, Manga said any man hustling in the Federal Capital Territory would eventually encounter such advances, whether he likes it or not.
“So, as a man in Abuja, if man never asks you out, bro, you never hustle! I swear, Wallahi!” he said.
According to him, the issue should not be treated with bragging or moral grandstanding, because the people involved are not ordinary men.
“Don’t ever make mouth, like, ‘God forbid,’ ‘Tafiakwa,’ ‘blah blah,’ ‘never me.’ Guy, pray! Wallahi, those people are not ordinary. Sometimes they might be tempting. One way or the other, they will know how to manipulate you,” he warned.
Manga alleged that if manipulation fails, the influential figures use gifts, favours and money to compromise their targets.
“Or if that one doesn’t work, Wallahi, once you eat something from them or collect something from them, then they go brainwash you.”
He said the only protection is prayer for self-control.
“May Allah make us overpower our hearts so that we will not act evil,” he said.
He also warned young men who boast about duping powerful men and going scot-free to be careful, noting that some highly connected individuals in Abuja are untouchable and leave no traces.
“There are some people you can never touch, forever and ever. Whatever you do, no evidence; they don’t leave a single trace. Evidence no dey! They will murder your father, I swear to God, you will go Kuje straight! Those people are very… man, just don’t make mouths. May God be with us always,” he said.
