Dangote Petroleum Refinery Lights Up Times Square In New York As Aliko Dangote Leads Team To Iconic Display

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has lit up Times Square in New York City, one of the world’s most iconic locations, in a showcase of the scale of the company’s ambition.

Aliko Dangote…Halima Aliko Dangote, Fatima Aliko Dangote, Zouera Youssoufou, David Bird, Murat Erden, Ibrahim Dikko Adamu, Muhammad Jamilu and Anthony Chiejina.

President/Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, joined members of the Dangote leadership team as the story of the 650,000 barrels per day refinery was displayed in Times Square.

With him were Halima Aliko Dangote, Fatima Aliko Dangote, Zouera Youssoufou, David Bird, Murat Erden, Ibrahim Dikko Adamu, Muhammad Jamilu and Anthony Chiejina.

According to the company, it was “a moment that reflects the scale of our ambition and our continued commitment to building world-class African enterprises. Made in Nigeria. Built for the world.”

The refinery, located in Lekki, Lagos, is the world’s largest single-train refinery and has been at the centre of Nigeria’s push for energy self-sufficiency.
