Twin Sisters, Dr. Hadiya And Dr. Aidah Usman Abdullahi, Die Within Two Days
A wave of grief has engulfed Nguru town in Yobe State following the death of twin sisters, Dr. Hadiya Usman Abdullahi and Dr. Aidah Usman Abdullahi, within an interval of two days.
The deceased are twin daughters of Prof. Hadiza Abdullahi Usman, the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Nguru.
According to reports, Dr. Hadiya Usman Abdullahi, a medical doctor in the Haematology Department of FMC Nguru, died on Friday, October 2, 2026, after a brief illness. Her funeral prayer was held on the same day at the Nguru Emirate Central Mosque.
Two days later, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, her twin sister, Dr. Aidah Usman Abdullahi, also died.
Dr. Aidah was a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) practitioner.
The development has thrown the family, staff of the Federal Medical Centre Nguru, and residents of Nguru community into mourning.
