“There Will Be No Global Taxes While I’m President” – Trump Vows, Says UN Must Stop Far-Left Agenda

Former United States President Donald Trump says the US worked with many countries to implement what he described as the most sweeping UN reforms in history.

Trump said, “We cut the UN budget for the first time ever, slashing it by 15 percent in 2026, which eliminated more than 4,000 positions from the UN bureaucracy.”

He said the UN has great potential provided it stops imposing what he called the far-left agenda of globalist bureaucrats who nobody ever elected.

The former president also said he stopped the International Maritime Organization from secretly establishing a first-ever global carbon tax.

According to him, the tax would have raised international shipping costs by 10 to 20 percent, and maybe more than that.

Trump added, “There is no global government, and while I’m president, there will be no global taxes.”
